I figured i would write a small thing about what I learned from ASTS 2014 first event
1. The people are great even if your German is not good.
2. The location was awesome
3. the trails much harder and steeper then i would have guessed and or run on before.
4. A winch is your friend the clock is not
5. High suspension and low weight you will roll over
6. my 27turn motor was too fast in many places. Swapping to my 55turn crawler motor for next event.
I am sure there is 100 more but these were the most important. It was fun enough that I am rebuilding my truck lower and moving my wight and suspension lower. See you all in a month.
Questions i have that I am sure would help others.
1. can you swap motors during the event?
2. Can you change tires during the event?
